RAGNA (dk) har  rødderne dybt nede i den traditionsrige musik fra de nordiske lande. Med deres eget energiske udtryk farver de tonerne fra fortiden med nutidig nysgerrighed.

RAGNA består af Stine Elbæk Gomard, violin og vokal, Carina Juul Birch, nøgleharper og Thomas Birch, 12-strenget guitar og mandola.

RAGNA blander traditionelle melodier og sange med egne nykomponerede numre, og sætter en ære i at forny traditionen, så den lever.

Musikken har desuden inspiration fra middelalderballader, bluegrass og barokmusik. RAGNA har optrådt på festivaler som Ild i Gilden, Musik over Præstø Fjord, Strib Vinterfestival og Tønder Festivalens campingscene.

RAGNA (dk) has its roots deep in the traditional music of the Nordic countries. With their own energetic expression, they color the tones of the past with contemporary curiosity.

RAGNA consists of Stine Elbæk Gomard, violin and vocals, Carina Juul Birch, nyckelharpa and Thomas Birch, 12-string guitar and mandola. RAGNA mixes traditional melodies and songs with their own newly composed melodies, and takes pride in renewing the tradition to keep it alive.

 

The music also draws inspiration from medieval ballads, bluegrass and baroque music. RAGNA has performed at festivals such as Ild i Gilden, Musik over Præstø Fjord, Strib Vinterfestival and Tønder Festival's camping scene.
